2013 Queen City Classic

2013 Queen City Classic chess tournament was held at Cincinnati, Ohio on March 23. Total around 700 students chess players from all over Ohio and several Midwest states participated in this biggest and highest level chess tournament for Midwest student chess players. Fifty six players represented Dragon Chess Club team. They won 41 individual trophies and 11 team trophies. Here is the summary of the results:

1. Five students, Rohan, Sam, Alison, Sneha, and Ethan, in Dragon team got a perfect score of 5.0. Two of them are girls.

2. Dragon players swept top three, four, and five in 3, 4, and K Non-rated sections, respectively.
