1. The trophy award in this tournament is pretty generous. Over 35% of players in Non-rated sections and over 30% of players in rated section received individual trophies. The percentage of individual trophy winners of Dragon players is about 97%! This is a historical high.

2. Almost all our six grade or higher students didn't participate in this tournament. The individual trophies in K-12 and UK-12 sections were wide open for grabbing.

3. Ryan Zhang (first grader) and Ethan Fang (kindergartener) participated in K-3 Non-rated section which is primarily for 2nd and 3rd graders. Ryan finished at second and Ethan finished at seventh.

4. Jason Wang, a first grader, played in K-3 rated section. He got a perfect score of 5.0 in a group of older kids and top players in this age group. A first time rating could be significantly higher or lower than a player's actual strength at chess, but this is a magnificent performance by any measure.

5. Significant Rating Changes:

    Jason Wang: NR -> 1462
    Duke Wang: 763 -> 853
